Made from real celluloid 1.5mm thick, this new replica Harmony pickguard is a very close match to the original (shown on the LEFT in the comparison photo) in this very lush translucent Light Red Tortoise material. I attach a clear acrylic "spine" to the back of the straight edge of the guard for extra rigidity. This is a replacement pickguard for Harmony and Kay archtops, but it will fit and look great on any 16-inch archtop. I believe these were also offered on various Supertone, S.S. Stewart, Recording King, Silvertone, and Framus guitars.
The guard measures 9 3/4" along the straight edge and is an exact copy of the original Harmony guard I have, but the guard for sale here has NO PICKUP CUTOUT. These can be added for a small charge, just ask on our Contact Page.
I ship my guards undrilled to match all applications. Each guard is fully cut and polished by hand. Tortoiseshell pattern will vary between each guard, but all are cut from the same material.
