Guard Info

I create my pickguards from the highest quality materials using the same techniques that have been used in the industry for over 100 years. I always make my pickguards undrilled (unless noted) because archtop guitars often had unique mounting locations from one instrument to the next. Such is the nature of these magnificent artistic archtop creations! I also use 2 layers of binding to produce the outer thick layer of a multi-ply bound guard, just as Epiphone and Gibson have done. I've found that the double-layer lasts longer than 1 single thick outer layer, which can easily separate from the guard in short time due to its rigidity.
